Booking Hill and Moor Village Hall:
A refundable deposit of £50 is payable to be held against damages and breakages during the hire period and will be returned after the event. Full payment must be received at least 3 working days prior to booking. Village Hall users have automatic access to the car park.
If the Hall is not used for a booked event, the charge will still be made. Cancellation is required at least 14 days in advance to avoid charges.

Licensed Events:
The Hall is licensed for singing, dancing, live music, showing of films and staging of plays for up to 100 persons from 11:00am until 11:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
For the sale of alcohol or to extend these times a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) is required. Please inform the booking clerk when a TEN is required, allowing a minimum of 28 Days before the event.
Longer and Block / Regular Bookings
For longer bookings, block bookings and regular events, please contact us so we can fulfil your request. Regular Village Hall users will be invoiced on a monthly basis by the Treasurer.

The hall has two adjoining sections. One is 12m x 4.6m, which has a serving hatch into the kitchen. The second is 10.5m x 4.2m can contains the projection screen.
The capacity of Hill and Moor Village Hall is 100 people. The Hall has seating for 58 people and 14 tables.
Yes, parking is at the Village Green carpark, opposite the hall. The car is built to take 15 cars. Please do not park on the grass and if parking in front of the hall, please do not park on the pavement as this restricts disabled access.
The hall has Wi-Fi, a projector, wall mounted screen and speakers. The hall also has a kitchen and toilets.
The kitchen is well equipped with two ovens and a microwave. There is also a fridge and freeze for refrigerating food and two pump action coffee dispensers plus a dishwasher.
Along with the women’s and men’s toilets there is one unisex disabled toilet.
The hourly rate for Hill and Moor Village Hall is £8 per hour for both residents and non-residents.

You need to book the hall for the length of time you require, including set-up and close down time.
No, the field is hired by the Parish Council.
Keys will be given to the hirer on the day of hire. Either the keys can be collected from the keyholder or the keyholder can arrange to meet the hirer at the hall. Keys must be returned on the same day, back to the keyholder.
The hall has heating which is managed by a timer. Heating will be set to come on an hour before the hire and to switch off at the end. There is no need for the hirer to change the heating settings.
Yes. The hall must be cleaned and left in the same state as it was found. This includes the toilets as our hall cleaner only comes once a week. Failure to do this may forfeit some of the deposit to pay for extra cleaning.
All damage or breakages should be reported to the keyholder at the time of handing the keys back. If there is serious damage then the hirer must contact the keyholder immediately. The cost of any damage will be assessed against the deposit. Full details can be found in the Hall Hire Terms and Conditions.
