Come along for a fun afternoon exploring Hill & Moor and discovering our very first Scarecrow Trail! 
Sunday 20th September | 1pm–5pm, 
Around Hill & Moor Village
Theme: Famous Film & TV Characters
Trail maps are available from Hill & Moor Village Hall from 12.30pm – £2 per map.
HUNT FOR THE LETTERS!
Each scarecrow will have a letter. Find them all and solve the missing word puzzle. Complete the trail at your own leisure and pace, then return your map to the Village Hall to claim your treat! 
GUESS THE CHARACTERS!
Adults and children can also guess the character and/or film or TV show represented by each scarecrow. All correct entries will go into a prize draw, with an adult winner and a child winner each receiving a bigger prize! 🏆
VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE!
Don't forget to vote for your favourite scarecrow. The winner will receive our Hill & Moor Scarecrow Trophy 🏆🌾 and will have a starring role later in the year as this year's Bonfire Night Guy! 🔥
Refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the afternoon at the Village Hall.

Coffee Morning - Last Saturday of Every Month, 10am - 12:30pm - Next On Saturday 26 September
Where else can you enjoy a decent cuppa and a slice of homemade cake for just £2.50?
Whether you'd like to catch up with friends, meet new faces, or simply enjoy a relaxing morning with tea, coffee and cake, everyone is welcome.
We're also hoping to introduce special guest stalls and local businesses throughout the year. Watch this space to see who's joining us next!
Our Coffee Morning takes place on the last Saturday of every month, and we'd love to see you there. Come along, bring a friend, and support your local village hall.

Cream Tea Morning in aid of Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven

Thank you so much to everyone who visited our Cream Tea Morning on Saturday 29th August. We’re absolutely delighted to share that we raised a fantastic £516.64 for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven! 🎀
We couldn’t have done it without your incredibly generous support. A huge thank you to everyone who came along, helped out on the day, donated delicious cakes, and contributed raffle prizes. 🧁🎟️
A very special thank you to Kimberley King, who very kindly made and donated our fabulous boob cake for the Guess the Weight of the Cake game! It was such a fun additional to the morning!
It was such a lovely and fun event for the village, and we’re so pleased that together we were able to support such a wonderful and important cause. 💕

Hill & Moor Family Fun Day
THANK YOU, HILL & MOOR!
What a fantastic day we had at the Hill & Moor Family Fun Day! A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. It was wonderful to see so many families, friends and neighbours enjoying everything the day had to offer.
Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, stallholders, entertainers, sponsors, local businesses, and our dedicated Events Team, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the past few months to bring the day together.
From the games and activities to the classic cars, music, food, stalls and refreshments, we hope there was something for everyone to enjoy.
And despite the unexpected road closure on the day, the community spirit certainly wasn't dampened – not even a road closure could stop us!
We're also delighted to share that, based on our initial assessment, the event made a profit of approximately £620. As this was the first Family Fun Day organised by our new Events Team, there were naturally higher one-off costs involved in getting the event established. We're incredibly pleased with this result and excited about what it means for the future.
To help ensure the Hill & Moor Family Fun Day and future community events can continue to grow and thrive, 50% of the profit (approximately £310) will be reinvested into future events. The remaining approximately £310 will be shared equally between Hill & Moor Village Hall and St Thomas's Church, helping to support these valued community facilities for everyone to enjoy.
It is a privilege to be part of organising events that bring our community together, and seeing so many smiling faces throughout the day made all the hard work worthwhile. We genuinely hope you had as much fun as we did!
Thank you once again for your support, and we look forward to welcoming you to many more events in Hill & Moor.
