Hill & Moor Halloween - Friday 30 October, from 5pm
Are you ready to get spooky?
We’re looking for houses to take part in our Hill & Moor Halloween Trail by welcoming local families and handing out sweets and treats to trick-or-treaters!
📅 Friday 30th October 2026
Trick-or-Treat Trail: 5:00pm–6:00pm
📍 Hill & Moor Village Hall
Families will be able to purchase a map from the Village Hall and make their way around the participating houses at their own pace.

You don’t have to be home! If you’d prefer not to answer the door, you can simply leave sweets or treats outside for children to collect during the trail.
The idea behind the organised trail is to make Halloween more enjoyable and manageable for everyone in the village, while helping to ensure that vulnerable residents or anyone who doesn’t wish to participate aren’t unexpectedly visited or have their door knocked on.
Best Dressed House Competition!
There will also be a prize for the best dressed house taking part, so get creative and make your home as spooky as you like!
Halloween Party!
After the trail, everyone is invited back to the Village Hall from 6:00pm–7:00pm for a Halloween party!

HALLOWEEN COFFEE MORNING
Come along to Hill & Moor Village Hall on Saturday 31st October, from 10am–12.30pm, for a spooktacular morning of Halloween fun!
Enjoy a cuppa and tuck into some delicious Halloween-themed cakes and treats.
We’ll also be holding a raffle, with the chance to win a fabulous Halloween-themed hamper!
Put your Halloween knowledge to the test with our Halloween Quiz – gather your friends and see how many spooky questions you can get right!
Whether you’re coming for the cakes, the quiz, the raffle or simply a chat and a cuppa, we’d love to see you there. Come along and join us for a frightfully good morning!

It's back with a bang!
The Hill & Moor Bonfire and Fireworks Night makes a welcome return on Saturday 7th November.
Gates open from 6pm, Lower Moor Field, WR10 2PN

Hill & Moor Christmas Wreath Making Workshop - Wednesday 02 December, 6:30pm - 9:30pm
We are running a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop in the village hall on Wednesday 2nd December in the evening, from 6:30pm!
Enjoy crafting amongst friends to the sound of Christmas music and enjoy a glass of mulled wine & some other Christmas treats!

Cream Tea Morning in aid of Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven

Thank you so much to everyone who visited our Cream Tea Morning on Saturday 29th August. We’re absolutely delighted to share that we raised a fantastic £516.64 for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven! 🎀
We couldn’t have done it without your incredibly generous support. A huge thank you to everyone who came along, helped out on the day, donated delicious cakes, and contributed raffle prizes. 🧁🎟️
A very special thank you to Kimberley King, who very kindly made and donated our fabulous boob cake for the Guess the Weight of the Cake game! It was such a fun additional to the morning!
It was such a lovely and fun event for the village, and we’re so pleased that together we were able to support such a wonderful and important cause. 💕

Hill & Moor Family Fun Day 2026
THANK YOU, HILL & MOOR!
What a fantastic day we had at the Hill & Moor Family Fun Day! A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. It was wonderful to see so many families, friends and neighbours enjoying everything the day had to offer.
Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, stallholders, entertainers, sponsors, local businesses, and our dedicated Events Team, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the past few months to bring the day together.
From the games and activities to the classic cars, music, food, stalls and refreshments, we hope there was something for everyone to enjoy.
And despite the unexpected road closure on the day, the community spirit certainly wasn't dampened – not even a road closure could stop us!
We're also delighted to share that, based on our initial assessment, the event made a profit of approximately £620. As this was the first Family Fun Day organised by our new Events Team, there were naturally higher one-off costs involved in getting the event established. We're incredibly pleased with this result and excited about what it means for the future.
To help ensure the Hill & Moor Family Fun Day and future community events can continue to grow and thrive, 50% of the profit (approximately £310) will be reinvested into future events. The remaining approximately £310 will be shared equally between Hill & Moor Village Hall and St Thomas's Church, helping to support these valued community facilities for everyone to enjoy.
It is a privilege to be part of organising events that bring our community together, and seeing so many smiling faces throughout the day made all the hard work worthwhile. We genuinely hope you had as much fun as we did!
